I just don't like hospitals and this pregnancy has been challenging so I just don't want any more issues like side effects with whooping cough but I will get it if it offers protection for my baby. My last one was in March 2018...do you need to have another vaccine for each child ?? Xx
it's super quick and I had no side effects at all. If it's going to reduce risk for baby it's definitely worth it. And yes you need one for every child as the vaccine gets passed through you to baby xx
Its not one I would pass up on, personally. It protects your baby during those first few precious months while they build their own immune system. Although, I wasnt even offered it with my first, my midwife was useless! No flu vaccine or GD testing either. I was also referred to a smoking and alcohol prevention worker as she put in my notes that I was a heavy smoker and drinker. I am neither. I have never smoked a fag and only ever have 1, maybe 2 drinks at family occasions. Honestly awful experience with my first midwife 😂 x
You can refuse it but personally not something I would refuse as it protects your baby until they have their vaccines. Plus the way I see it is they don’t offer it for no reason. Phone your GP and ask to have it at your local surgery. My midwife done mines during an appointment xx
You can refuse any vaccine you want. The only vaccine i refused while pregnant was the flu jab. I had my whooping cough done at my GP surgery and only side effect was a slightly sore arm after, nothing bad. X

I didn’t have it for any of my children i feel it can cause more harm then good but thats with any vaccine but that’s my opinion.

No, I had mine with no issues. I didn't want to take the risk.
My dad had whooping cough as a baby (obviously before the vaccine was available) and spent weeks in intensive care x
