We do soy due to a cow milk allergy and honestly it doesn’t mess with kids guts like whole milk does. Also it took about a full week to transition. Slowly add milk into formula I went every two days substitute a oz of formula for milk.
Soy for all of mine. We drink soy or almond as a household. Cows milk isn’t very healthy. There are other alternatives and foods your toddler can consume that will provide the nutrients.
My oldest had no problem going with whole milk and I just added some to his bottles little by little, until he was taking full bottles of whole milk. My youngest refuses all milk and milk alternatives except goats milk 🤦🏼♀️ Even when mixed into the bottle, he refused to drink anything as he could apparently taste the smallest alteration.
