Separation anxiety is a normal part of a child’s development and most children do grow out of it gradually.
While under the current circumstances with the pandemic it has been impossible to socialise but soon hopefully we can all go back to socialising, play dates, stay and play groups etc which would ease the young ones back into interacting with others and exploring new things again. Personally I don’t think nursery will make all the anxiety go away, I’m not saying nursery isn’t good for development however your little one is still a baby so I’d start by leaving the room for ten minutes a time providing she’s safe and in your ear shot while she has some activities or toys to keep her occupied to get her used to not being by your side and then she will realise you always come back. Separation issues isnt really a reason to send her off to nursery, you need to be careful as it can actually make it 10x worse. I've just been through weeks and weeks of my son crying at nursery drop offs and it was horrible. However I sent him due to speech development and it's what the health visitor suggested.
It's very normal at her age to be attached to you and her dad she is still only 1 year old so you cant expect her to willingly part with you yet shes still so so young.
Enjoy it while it lasts I'd say it wont be long before shes a teenager and telling you to go away. 😂 x

I think it normal at the age and especially with COVID every child different. My daughter been in nursery since 14 month she 2.5 year old now. old she love it it is a little expensive but my son who 15 soon was the same when nursery at the age they both love. It. ❤️ the relationship she has with the nursery stuff is amazing. They been amazing and supportive with her disabilities she also get extra funding so she can go Monday - Friday. But at the min she does 3 days a week

My children have all had separation anxiety. It’s normal when you are the only person that’s spends time with them which is even more common now with all the COVID isolation etc. She’s still little so things will change but if nursery is the way you want to go then go for it. Nursery can be very expensive so don’t put yourself in financial stress if it’s too much. I keep my kiddies at home until they get the 15 hours free as I wouldn’t be able to afford it. My third baby started nursery a few weeks ago and I thought it was going to be awful but she’s loving every second of it!
