My son is 6.5years old and only
Just switch him to high back booster. He is 60 pounds by the way.
My son is 6.5, 4ft tall and 55lbs and still in a five point harness. His seat turns into a high back booster, but I’m
The parent who is all about safety as long as possible. Even though kids meet the height and safety requirements they aren’t always mature enough to handle a high back booster. Once I feel he’s mature enough and won’t fool around with the seat belt constantly, then I can transition.
My kiddo just recently switxhed my to a highback booster. He'll be in that as long as possible. He'll be 6 in August. He rear faced til well after 4 and stayed in his 5 point harness forward faving for another year or so.
My 5 year old still in car seat with 5 point harness, but my 6 year old just went into a high back booster since he met the height and weight requirements.
@mb2424, @mom2godzilla, I’m needing a second car seat but not something crazy expensive or bulky do you have any recommendations.? It’s gonna be transferred in and out our car all day.
I just switch my son to high back booster at 6 he can use the booster alone but we keep it as a high back
Look on the box, I think it says 40 lbs and 4 years old but I don’t know anyone who uses a booster that young because it’s not safe. My daughter is 6 and uses a high back booster with 5 pt harness. I plan to use that pretty much forever 😂 She keeps asking when she can switch the the regular belt but what for? She still fits in the harness. Your daughter is only 3 so she should still be in a convertible seat.
