Or she COULD be like me who's damn phone rings and buzzes NON stop for work. I TRY not to deal with that kinda stuff when we're havin family time, but it happens. 🤷♀️ We're not all staring at Instagram and ignoring our kids. I ALWAYS just spend my extra energy keepin an eye on the kiddo instead of judgin his/her Mama. Maybe I'm weird. 🤷♀️
@leonardsquared exactly! I remember those days well, people think they HAVE to have answers immediately and they don't respect family time, but sometimes it's easier to answer that call than let it all pile up.
Less judgment, more helping each other. That's what our grandmas and moms did. Heck, I got scolded by neighbors more than my mom. We need to return to that healthy village mentality. :)
🙌 EXACTLY why I'm startin my commune! Even if I wasn't anywhere NEAR my Mama I KNEW not to act a fool cause there were like 8 more Mama's willin to jump in and correct you at ANY time AND they'd tell your Mama bout it afterwards too!
You are dead on with the work calls too. Some of them will start calling me at 6 a.m.! Like... WHAT do you think I can do for you at this hour?? I can tell you if I have it or not, but the shop isn't open for another 2 hours bro....WHYYYY???? 🤦♀️ It's easier just to answer and move on than to have em keep buggin me!
Man, kids aren't being disciplined like they once were, you try to correct a child, they say, "you're not my mother!" And keep on right ahead misbehaving, and if you say anything to the parents they say, "kids will be kids..." like naw hun, kids need to be taught to have manners and respect, smh
