I know this is my 3rd baby, but since I’m having a baby girl would it be weird if I did some kind of “baby shower” (obviously as safely as possible due to COVID-19) I didn’t have a shower with either boy and always wanted to, just never did.. I feel like a burden having a baby shower or having someone host something for me and my baby. Maybe I’m just overthinking per usual ☹️
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

The ONLY time I've been irritated by the scheduling of someones baby shower was when this "friend" of ours got pregnant with her 3rd boy in less than 3 years and had a THIRD babyshower just so she could take shit back and get the cash. She openly admited this. The bitch didn't need shit but diapers and wipies. THAT was fucked up. What you're wantin to do is NOTHING like that nonsense! Celebrate your baby!
Just to note, I would have been FINE with going to 3 diaper parties or just a baby celebration 3 times, in 3 years. It was the putting of a Mamaroo, Rock n Play, cribs, carseats and all the expensive shit on their registry EVERY single time and genuinely expecting people to buy it for them, after the first time, that was a annoying AF to me.
