Have any of you chicken mamas gotten the leg tags for them? My son wants them to be able to tell them apart and I’m just wanting to make sure it’s really safe.

We used these. Never had any issues! I was worried about the charms. They peck at them for a bit but once they realized it wasn’t food they didn’t care

I honestly didnt know you could do this with full grown chickens. When I buy them as chicks from my local hatchery they have these bands on them, they are color coded by breed, but were instructed to remove the bands within 7 days.
I’ve mainly heard of them being used for age and medications if any. Usually it’s for larger amounts than what I have but we have 4 that are almost identical and was just looking for a safe option. I’m not worried about it but it drives my oldest insane.
