Lol I’m not sure just wondering that’s what I said too but since my husband filed us together he owes back taxes so he won’t get anything anyways but we only got one stimulus back in December but I have three kids so idk if that’s right either wouldn’t ask three get one ?
if you are under a certain threshold of income then yes you’re entitled to all the stimulus for you and the kids. Each have a variation of the threshold and max limits so you’d have to google each one. I know homeless can file a certain form to get it so I would think anyone could file a form to at least receive the stimulus.
We’re missing out on an extra $2,800, because my boyfriend Corey hasn’t filed taxes in a couple years and they didn’t add Evelyn on the 2nd or 3rd check. I would cry if we got the full $5,600, ALL bills would be paid. It was such a good feeling to pay a percentage of each bill today.
@capricornlover, dang yeah I hear ya girl he didn’t pay 2015 , 2019 or 2018 he just did this years and 2020 but he couldn’t figure out 2015 cuz they wouldn’t verify it because we were one apartment number off he gave up it’s ridiculous lol I’m over it a lot of ppl will probably get screwed
It may be hard to file for federal and state taxes if you don’t have a W-2. You will need to show proof that you are paying taxes to get taxes. If he owes taxes there may have been a change in his taxes to cause that, if he has all the kids on his taxes under dependents he should have gotten the stimulus for them. I’m a stay at home mom, my husband gets the stimulus for himself and three kids. I don’t affect his taxes, unless you owe taxes and had some faults you shouldn’t be affecting his. They have an innocent spouse relief but idk how it works.

Well how would you file with zero income? You could file if you had income even if it was from another source.

You should still be able to receive a stimulus check under the no filers tool.. I think. 🤔 Don’t quote me on that though.
