We want to try for another baby this year when my health is better. Is everything easier with your second? Are you able to choose to have a c section cos i had an awful vaginal birth.
Nope defo not
I was fine tbh even got up out of my bed and managed to go to the toilet after 3 hours or so and walked to the shop and back the next day
best to try and get it out the way as soon as you can the getting your bit if able x
Oh wow what did you say to your midwife that you had a hard birth so you want a c section?. Well that's really good to be honest will consider that to be fair. Is the scar really bad? X
Well that's what I thought as well to be fair I bet I don't get in the pool quick enough 🤣. Oh wow really ill take that advice Hun! Anything to make it easier I'm happy to do. How did you find buying things for your second we are only on universal credit so any ideas? We didn't save any of our little girls stuff cos they went to my partners sister xx
You can buy things like bouncers , Moses basket second hand , especially as you can easily disinfect them and with the chair the fabric can be put in the wash , start buying things weekly throughout the duration of pregnancy and don’t go overboard you really only need essentials like clothes, feeding supplies etc. If the shops are open primark is pretty good for those newborn grows and clothes especially as they outgrow them so quickly xx
@ezchaz yeah I was thinking of asking people locally for bits and bobs and see what is left for me to get. I've done it all before but things were different back then lol. How was your eldest when you had your next baby? Xx
@proudmommyoflilymae, Just saw you wrote about water birth, I wanted that with my first but was in such a state I was too afraid to move and get into it 😂🙈so I was laid on the bed. So in my head when I was pregnant with my second I thought there’s NO way I’m laying flat on my back again so I decided to birth on my knees on the floor in a birthing room on a mat thing with my arms/elbows resting on a block beanbag type seat , being in that position really helped with the pain and bring baby down faster. It definitely helped me, along with the gas and air. So thought I’d share that with you xx
Yeah same here I had an awful tear and got infections etc never again do I want that again lol. A c section is definitely a must the next time I have a baby. Thanks hun xx
@mrsmowmow well that's very true I will think about natural then. Don't want to have a c section if I will be ok second time round. Would a water birth be easier?. Xx
You can choose to have a c section due to bad experience with vaginal birth. I did. I had a really bad tear with my eldest. Worst tear my midwife who delivered him had seen. I opted for a c section with my youngest. I’m so glad I did. I found it much better for me.
Second child is a little easier cause you know what to do and expect but they can be very different.
