They took Tessa the orange Maine Coon kitty off petfinder and the rescue site. I’m pretty sure at this point we didn’t get chosen to be her new parents, again. It’s been hard to get a cat Zay would love that isn’t a kid hater...

You’re near me! Have you contacted any of the kitten rescues? I got my girls as babies and they are so good with my son. Not sure how an adult rescue would’ve been but he constantly carries them and lays with them and they have never gotten upset, not even so much as a hiss.

Oh yeah, no one has anything under a year old right now that is orange and kid friendly. Tessa loved kids and was barely 1 which is why I applied for a her. All the kittens are just being born. I got my nephews at a rescue and all my other cats. I’m so frustrated I might hit up a breeder I know. I’ve been looking for 2 months
@fairykarmamomma, contact SCARF! And friends of animals, they’re in solano county but they always have babies, they work a bunch w the feral populations. I can send you some contacts if you want!
