Who has leap day babies? My daughter was born last year on leap day 😅 when do y’all celebrate? Like no matter what in February or March? We are doing her first birthday on the 28th since it falls on a Sunday lol

My best friend has a leap day baby who is turning 1 this year too. She said they will probably celebrate on whatever weekend is closer, except when it’s actually a leap year. Funny part was her due date was 2/29 and they picked an induction date way earlier in the week. But baby was insistent on being born on 2/29 😂

My daughter wasn’t suppose to be born until the end of March 🤦🏼‍♀️ I only went to L&D once and that was when I was 36 weeks pregnant to the day (2/29) and my blood pressure was extremely high so They induced me in that next hour and said I probably won’t have her till the next day and nope! Fastest labor ever! They started pitocin and she was here within 3 hrs 😐 I was like man she really wanted that special birthday 😂😂

@paigerue2013, oh goodness! What a story though. Glad you both were okay. Leaplings is what I’ve heard leap day babies be called. Hopefully your daughter will enjoy the specialness of her birthday when she gets older.

Lol, I always felt that if I had a leap day baby I'd put March 1st on the birth certificate 😅 I can't deal with only having a concrete day to acknowledge only once in four years.

I wish I could have done that! 😂😂 cuz I’m annoyed by the fact she “technically” doesn’t have a birthday every year lol
