The only time I’ve heard people say anything about people spending their taxes is when people misspend it. For example if you’re behind on rent then take your tax money and buy yourself a Gucci purse and then a week later complain that you can’t pay bills yeah you’re going to get side eyed.

People need to understand that a tax return is because you paid too much in taxes through out the year. 🥴 People deserve to spend this money on whatever they please.
