I got an email yesterday from the regional center that serves Zay allowing us to sign up for appointments for the COVID vaccine starting this Thursday, so I signed all of us adults up, even my 67 year old father.
Since I’m allergic to eggs and the flu shot, I’ll be bringing my epi pen, but this has to be done to protect the family with my having to be out there more now.
I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to having a vaccine 🙄

Awww, that’s so sweet of you to have such a level of concern! You’re right, no one wants to have to take this risk! I have 6 epi pens and will take two with me. I start selling in person on Saturday, that’s what got me saying “okay, I gotta do this for the four kids who can’t get vaccinated”

I just got my second dose! My cousin has a ton of allergies. Very serious ones. She's an RN in Chicago. She had her epi pen on her at the time, but got both doses without any issue. I pray yours goes well too! <3

@fairykarmamomma I think being prepared is everything, and you know what to look for and can let them know if you start to feel anything. They had a set up area for emergencies in case anyone had a reaction. Those nurses are ready! <3

I’ll definitely share my experience, especially since I know I have that allergy issue. If all goes well I think it’ll make others feel a little better

@mamakat89, I am too, but I need to get out here and work and sell my products since hubby’s work situation is a mess down to having an attorney involved. I gotta do whatever it takes and I gotta keep Zay safe so vaccine it is. I think I’ll bring 2 epi pens that day

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. There aren’t any eggs in the covid vaccine. You have to answer a list of questions concerning allergies so you either won’t qualify or you’ll have to do a few other things before they will vaccinate you. They have epinephrine on deck so there’s no need for your epi pen.
