Social media is a joke these days. Ppl try to bully you into silence & most ppl are offended by the slightest things. If you have a different view or opinion, they attack you. Sometimes they even try to twist things around to try & ruin your life. Even these platforms are trying To control almost anything we do and say now. Smh

I just think it’s sooo ironic that so many are complaining about social media “these days” yet still choose to use social media?? It makes no sense. You don’t have to be on any of those sites, you are free to delete your account or take a break at any time.

True but some of us use it to keep in touch with our family and friends or for marketplace so we are fucked into keeping it. I'm not complaining lol im speaking facts. Almost anything we say or do these days is being " Censored" ppl are offended over so much.

@kimsnowden8593, I mean, you could just not interact with anyone who gets offended easily. A lot of those apps are completely customizable, you add the people you want to see your stuff and post what you want others to see. It’s not that people are “more offended” it’s that social media has given us the tool to express ourselves. If you’re talking about killing people or committing violence, or saying Jewish space lasers started the fires in California, you should be censored and also probably committed.

a lot of social apps right now are restricting a lot more heavily after what’s conspired in the last month or two. Nobody wants to be held liable for something big happening again because it could’ve been shut down before. So I’m sorry that’s happening but it’s probably good to have a little break. You don’t always have to argue back, just block and leave it alone. It’s very seldom that you’re going to change someone’s opinion by arguing online. I 100% think everyone should back off fb anyways. Your private info isn’t safe on that site at all. Offer up, let go, and even Etsy are really helpful “marketplace” type buy/sell sites that don’t have the drama attached to it.

I agree but it's not even just arguing. You could be making a point about something , talking about religion or just taking a picture of your dog and ppl are getting account warnings.

Any site will have restrictions. Imagine any fool spreading chaos and nonsense for movement and harmful acts? Especially with sites that allow live streaming.
There are reasons for regulations.

I was just thinking about this but with yahoo. I used to love reading the comments people would write under the articles and now it sucks so bad that there aren’t any comments on there. I will still read the articles but it feels empty without it. Sometimes I am still hoping to find them when I scroll down. Yahoo cannot take peoples comments who have different opinions. I do remember a few people would diss yahoo though and say who wrote this article? 😂 Some journalist would only write 2 sentences and you would expect a full story so I can see why some people got annoyed lol.
