Mommies I need advice.... So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have felt like a complete failure because I am delirious due to sleep deprivation, and I’m just so exhausted from this whole journey and can’t catch up with my sleep that when she’s waken up the past two nights at 7am, I haven’t been able to push through my exhaustion and I just put her in the bed with me for an hour or an hour and a half until we wake up just so I can get a little sleep. I don’t want to confuse her and I don’t want all the work I’ve done so far to be a waste because of putting her in bed with me these past two times. I don’t have anyone to take turns with me because I’m a single mom. And at times my bed wakes her back up after putting her to sleep because it’s so noisy 🙄. I’m working on that part, lol. I’ve let her sleep with a shirt of mine that smelled like me 3 nights and it didn’t help. I’ve even given her a bed baby that she sleeps with. What would you guys do in my case.??
mommys who co-sleep Did you tell lo doctor you were co-sleeping? What is the response im going to get from her dr this month? She is almost 6 months and weve been co-sleeping since 4 months. She starts the night out in bed until she wakes up to eat, and then she comes into my bed.
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed. She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄 I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴 I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣 She ate an eggo.
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?
PLEASE HELP ME DEAL.... With my fussy baby!!!! Shes 2 weeks old today, and the past 2 nights, she stays up from 8pm and wont go to bed until 3am. Between that time, she eats multiple times (once every 20 mins,) gets multiple diaper changes and we try over and over to swaddle her and lay her down. She might "sleep" for an hour tops before she fusses and throws a fit. Last night, she was up til 330am. Woke up at 6am. Went back to bed, woke up at 8am, went back to bed, woke up at 10am and shes been up ever since. Just fussing. I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG!! First time parents trying to deal with an overly tired, fussy baby. Any advice or wisdom??!!

my son was the same exact way until he got his own room. I would just try to do rewards if he actually stayed in bed. I swear I sleep and potty trained him with absolute bribery. It’s tough in the same room though. He used to just scream and I was so tired so I would give in.

My son does this and I tell him to stay in his bed. We put his toddler bed beside ours. I've co slept with all of our children. My son is 4 now. And here soon we are switching him to his own room. Yes I know he should've been in his own room by now but my anxiety goes crazy. Anyways Idc of others opinions of how I let my kids sleep. But just tell her to keep herself in her own bed and sit it on your side of the bed so she sees you. It will be a battle but its worth it. My son still tried to get in bed with us and I move him back to his bed when I realize he's in our bed.

Yes her bed is right next to ours and it’s on my side so she can see me but she just keeps on waking up and wanted to sleep with only me, she kicks my husband out of the bed. And she takes up his space on the bed.

oh man. Good luck cutting that one off. Unless you both stick with it she will keep doing it. Our son did that for the longest. Either his dad or I would get out of the bed. He eventually stopped when we listened to him cry himself to sleep from not getting his way. It gets harder before it gets easy.
