I’ve had both inner and outer ear infections. Antibiotics won’t necessarily help an outer ear infection. That will need an antibiotic ear drop. I would cry myself to sleep (as a grown adult) because it hurt so bad.

Mine are painful. They make my very inner ear and neck hurt. I usually end up with a low fever.

I get frequent ear infections. Mine are always extremely painful, like someone is inserting a long needle into my ear drum. I also get the fullness feeling.

Wow that sounds terrible! Any issues with balance or vertigo?
@2sweetie Yes, for me I do get that but I also have eustachian tube dysfunction and get those symptoms regularly.
Dull achy pain in my ear, severe headache, discomfort, ear itching, feeling full, sometimes popping. It is painful! Hope you feel better fast!

@xryztalroze, I didn’t come in complaining of ear pain so I guess it didn’t occur to her that it could be infection. I didn’t even think of checking til I got home. I’ll call back during the week
@2sweetie I can understand that but generally they check you eyes, ears, nose as a standard practice.

@xryztalroze, ugh I don’t know why she didn’t. It was my first time seeing that doctor and I don’t even normally go to doctors so I didn’t even notice
