I've been on so many and the feelings range from nothing at all to WEIRD AF! 🤣🤷♀️
Once everyone FINALLY started listening to me when I was sayin I'm NOT depressed or anxious, I'm just a spazzy person, ALWAYS have been! They realized I have ADHD and mild OCD, gave me the right dang medicine, life has been good! I swear the antidepressants and crap they were puttin me on were MAKING me ACT like a depressed person; no motivation, not getting out of bed, no sex drive, not eating and all kinds of crazy shit.
They kept INSISTING I was manic depressive, just more heavy on the manic. It was almosy 2 years of feeling like hell before someone finally listened and actually helped!

I haven’t taken anything in years. I do have pretty bad anxiety though.
About 9 years ago I was taking Zoloft for a couple of months then the doctor tapered me off. It helped but there were a lot of side effects. I was clenching my teeth so hard that my jaw was actually sore, itching my head, my pupils were a mess so I looked like I was actually sniffing coke or something. I was soooooo tired. It was a struggle to get out of bed which was a huge problem considering I had a newborn and a 2 year old at the time. My sex drive was gone completely. Everyone reacts differently though.

I take citalopram (celexa). I take 5 mg daily for anxiety. I was experiencing terrible anxiety that would manifest in anger and I was snapping at anyone and everyone. The medicine doesn't do much. I'm a very calm person now and although things bother me I don't escalate to anger.
I did gain an obnoxious amount of weight when o first started taking it but I'm much better now. Does kill sex drive though.

That's what they prescribed with me. They didn't really ask me wtf I was feeling. All I said was covid has me stressed, I feel irritable and I even developed tinnitus (ringing in ears😭) so they put me on 20mg of this and I had one dose the other night and I absolutely hated it. Too disgusting. It was like a neverending hangover. I dont even know if I needed it to begin with. Maybe I'm just experiencing early menopause instead lol UGH this is 40s for me.
