So this will be my fourth kiddo and I’ve dealt with occasional nausea but this time feels worse. This is the first pregnancy I’ve had more than just MediCal for insurance so I was excited at the idea of finally being prescribed Diclegis for morning sickness... before the prior authorization went though (if I had done out of pocket) it would have been nearly $600!!!!!!!
With the prior authorization my insurance only covered 90ish so it was still going to be in the $400 range, then I asked the pharmacy tech if there were any assistance programs and he used a Good Rx deal which cut it down to $245. I PAID 245 FOR ONE MEDICATION, WITH INSURANCE!! How is that okay?!?!?!?!?!?!
Meanwhile, my husband’s blood pressure medication out of pocket is $3 a month.
My son’s ADHD medication is $30 a month.
What. The. Hell!

Its not okay. This what happens to most of us. For flagyl cream it was going to cost me 600 out of pocket after my insurance. I couldnt afford to get it. 😔, my insurance also didnt cover blood work, or imaging for my pregnancy
