My morning rant:
I feel bad for these teacher that have to teach virtually, parents are either not around or not home. I get some have to work but teachers are not a free babysitter, they have to learn and a teacher can’t teach if her students are not taking the classes serious and are just playing around. Some of these teacher including my sons 2nd grade teacher is a parent as well with a child that is remote learning. My son is just sitting there because the teacher is more focused on other students being able to take their assessments and some students won’t sit still and focus and one student made himself host and just acted out 🤦🏻♀️. If a parent can’t be home, have a responsible adult with your kids around. A sibling is not an option especially if they are also remote learning lol.

Omg yess 🙌🏼🙌🏼...my daughter's principal just came on her reading lesson and scolded kids that were not paying attention...one kid is notorious for walking around with his iPad and always getting called out....the mother had the damn nerve to say that she's right here with him and he's an active child 🙄...like every 6 year old is active tell them to sit down or turn off the damn camera 😑

🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ that too, if kids are not taking it serious it’s because parents are treating virtual learning as a joke. Yeah they are home but his is their school time, someone that works from home wouldn’t be acting like that. When some students turn in their mics you hear so much background noise 🙄. Give the kids a quiet area, be respectful as well. My boys are in the living room but in not about to watch tv next to them or vacuum where they are. These teachers are not getting the respects they deserve.

My BFF is teaching virtually for our elementary school and she has had such a hard time. The parents of the younger kids are messaging her complaining because their kids aren’t engaged enough. Like that’s her fault! She can only do so much. And from the high school, 75% of the kids that opted to do virtual are failing because they aren’t even turning their work in. These teachers are doing everything they can to help these kids learn but if the parents aren’t staying on top of the kids, there isn’t a whole lot the teachers can do.

Exactly, it’s a team effort from teachers and parents. Every time I have issues with finding an assignment I always apologize when I message her lol.

Yes and yes thank u!!!! They are not babysitter!!!!!!!get your ass up moms !!!! Damn I love u!! This has been weighing on me but idgaf what other people are doing but damn moms !!! Get yo asss up and teach and learn something yourself!!lol but get up at least!!! I'm working from home and going bak n forth with my 5yr old and computer..its a headache but wtf can we do !!!! Nothing. Help your kid !! Our kids are suppose to be like us but 100 times beter

Damn I'm sorry but I was a stay at home mom 247 with no job for 6 years .loved it.but yes we can do more when most stay at homes moms really just sit on their asses.. don't with me cuz I know. I use to do nothing. Besides Ean and cook but if u think about it. Our men are out working hard too so don't bitch and do your part ..I. sorry but I and enough of lazy ass moms!!!! Straight up.. like my brothers babymama!! As u can see where my angers coming from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be woman. Stop batching

I have been supportive with our teacher because ye, they are having a tough time. Teachers need support from parents as well.
I am a part-timer and have days with dd to help.

Also, I am on standby because I can not walk in and interrupt too. I do my part to make sure dd has a well study area that will not be interrupted by daily living an noises.

I have to work and I work at home but I put my daughter into the daycare at her school so there are adults there to keep the kids on track. She’s in kindergarten and has a hard time sitting and focusing. At home she just wants to play so at least she’s in a school environment. My son is also in preschool. At the end of TK last year when school closed and they went virtual she had a really hard time listening to videos and focusing because her brother is so loud and wants the computer. I had to separate them this year. It’s a lot of money out of my pocket but I really don’t have a choice. She would get no education with a 2 year old constantly in her face!

It was a tough first couple of months getting everyone situated, my son has a learning disability and has a hard time focusing. Finding him a school setting was out focus, to make him feel at school we got him an actual school table lol. My daughter loves being around her daughter but she learned that when he is in class we have to be in another room and not be too loud. We all had to adjust to the new norm.

@alejandra_593, yes but your kids are older. You don’t have a 2 year old at home right? My son wants to do everything exactly like his sister and copies everything she does. If I move him away he screams so loud. We turned the volume all the way up on the computer and even tried headphones but his screams are ear piercing. Something about boys, they have a bigger range. My daughter was never that loud as a toddler. He loves school so I don’t mind paying for it. My daughter started preschool at age 2 as well.
