Does having your blood pressure checked with a hoodie on make a difference? They checked mine with my hoodie on and it was elevated 135/80.

Me too. I take my blood pressure at home to keep track of it. It always elevates in a medical setting.

@scream.queen my husband is an RN and he says BP taken over clothing increases BP readings. So likely it is lower than what was read.

Yes, you must have your arm free from clothing. It could give an inaccurate result.

Yeah, anything thick covering your arm is not good. A thin long sleeve tshirt would be okay, but not a hoodie.

Always amazed At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!
