Can they really do that? So this video popped up on my feed and honestly made me cry. Can they seriously send you to jail though? I know at the school in my town they still do swats. However you can choose detention or suspension as well. It was never a "you have to be swatted or else". I was suspended twice and my grandma was never arrested. So idk if it varies between schools and states. Sorry if this had been posted before.

I see a lot of concerns for everyone’s child starting virtual. Just imagine the children who are in SPED and have an IEP or 504. Unfortunately virtual isn’t something that can really be customized for these children. Can you imagine the support that’s lacking for them and their parents? What about the children who only had a safe place and food while at school? They looked forward to being there. What about those children who will fail or fall behind because their parents just don’t care what happens? What about the kids who have parents that are working and they can’t be there to help even though they wish they could? What about the kids who have siblings doing virtual as well and the adult in the home has to help everyone some how at the same times? I wonder about these teachers as well. How is this affecting them? Do they have enough support from their administration? I can only imagine how hard it is to be virtual and trying to get all the the kids focused and engaged. This is new for everyone. This is hard for everyone. Some more, some less.
Are you ladies sending your kids to school? In my opinion I changed my mind and I’m not sending her because of all COVID surging over here. I don’t understand why can they do virtual !!! All they care it’s money!!! #StupidGovernor

@supermomof4, ooo absolutely not. That teacher would be having more than a few words with me. I’d be reporting her to the school boards. But considering how your school district already is never mind.. that just made me mad for you. Your poor son. I’m psycho over my child. I’d have to have the police on their way over to the school as I get there to make sure I don’t kill that teacher.

@sourpatchkid, it took everything in me not to threaten the teacher. I did ask her since it was ok my son was hit several times by the child’s ID makeshift weapon that would it be ok if I can and hit her repeatedly and she be the one punished as well. I almost lost my shit. I had another teacher complain because my son can’t sit still. He’s ADD but un-medicated because it’s not horrible so I didn’t see a need to medicate him and this teacher almost demanded I medicate him because him tapping his foot bothered her so badly. 🤦🏻♀️

that sounds reasonable enough with the id. Basically the same thing. but this sounds like my sister as a kid. We were in some church school and my mom pulled us out right away because of how they treated my sister for her adhd. My mom didn’t like how the medication was affecting her so the teachers were pissed she got off it and the treated her differently.
There needs to be some type of mental evaluation for people to even become teachers. Just because you studied books and graduate it doesn’t mean you’re mentally capable of handling them.

That's crazy. This is why I tell EVERYONE my policy when it comes to my daughter: it isn't that I don't trust you personally, I don't trust ANYONE with my child. And whack jobs like this are why.
