Has anyone tried to encourage getting pregnant with a specific gender? What did you do? Did it work for you?

@spookylyn and @mb2424 i realize it's the male that determines the gender. It was mostly a curiosity. I'd be happy if all I had were boys
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
I am trying to remember what we did, we wanted a girl first and we got our girl, but it was probably just coincidence. It was so long ago. I remember putting my hips on a pillow, which doesn't probably do anything. Taking Mucinex to thin my cervical fluid. Doing the BD early in ovulation so the slow swimmers would be there and the fast ones would be done.
And like I said, it probably didn't matter at all, but it was exciting during the ttc process. :)
