When I was working I had private insurance through my job for both my son and I but I didn’t qualify for medical (Medicaid here in Cali is called medical) for my son or I. I tried because copays where a bitch but “I made enough money”.

We all have insurance through my husband's employer and my youngest has medicaid only to cover his adhd medicine and psychologist. My husband's employer insurance doesn't cover anything to do with it.

@jordandior, We didn't qualify either because of my husband's income. We had to jump through so many hoops. It took months. We had to have school notes, counselor notes, doctor notes/diagnosis and everything just to push for it. Hopefully you can get something figured out!

yeah I figured you would have to jump through loops. I feel like they make it very hard for middle class citizens But thank you ! At least there some hope

I completely agree with you! You should still apply and go from there. Maybe see if his doctor has any insight on something you could do or give you advice. Best of luck to you!
