I want to try to make the coconut shrimp that is the Chinese buffets, I got on Pinterest and got a recipe but was wondering if anyone tried making it and turned out good?

Don't fry too hot or the coconut will burn very quickly from the natural sugars

I have, I used panko and tempura for the breading. Just let the shrimp set at least an hour before cooking. Helps it all stick together.
I made a fun at home Chinese buffet spread on our anniversary back in May.
