It’s time to officially cut down my daughters nap time, she fell asleep at 3:50pm and didn’t woke up until 6pm. Now she is not tired & will start crying if I try to sleep her. Can’t have her crying a lot because my mother in law has to wake up early to go to work tomorrow & my son is a pretty light sleeper & don’t want him to wake up. Have any of you ladies cut down nap time for your little ones? If so, was it difficult?
Tried sleeping her around 2:30 since lunch is around 12-1pm, but she won’t fall asleep until 3 or 3:30, then she wakes up like around 5:30 or 6 o’clock, by the time it’s night time she won’t fall asleep until 12-1 am then wakes up at 10:30 the next morning.
@dance.uni., yeah I tried that too & she just becomes super cranky & she ends up falling asleep around 6pm. Today she fell asleep at 3:30, I’m about to wake her up right now, which I know she will become super cranky but it’s better than having to sleep her at 12-1am
My daughter has quiet time in her room each day and she can either play quietly or nap. If she naps I will make sure she doesn’t sleep longer than 2 hours and even if she’s only been sleeping for a short time I will have her back up by 2:30pm. Sometimes she’s pretty crabby being woken up but nighttime sleep is very important
Make her nap earlier and wake her before 3pm. If not make sure she gets 12 hours a night. That's what I do for my toddler. She sleeps 12 hours a night. 7pm-7:30am.
