PSA: driving behind work vans
Please give work Vans/trucks space.
Idk why, but people tend to ride my ass driving the work van. I HAVE EXPLOSIVES 🧨 on my van. Liquid acetylene and other flammable gases. I also have PVC and Black Gas Pipe on the Top of my van, at high speeds it can fall off and come into the windshield of the person behind me. Imagine a head on a pike!
I drive cautious and the speed limit. Give them some space on the road. Don’t want to die in an explosion or kill anyone because some one left their house late to go to work or a meeting or picking up their kid.
This goes for Semi trucks too. Stop cutting them off! You don’t know what the load they are carrying and they can’t stop and speed up like a tiny car.

@rayofmysunshine he was gone once for 5 months straight. Came home for 2 weekends the whole time. I went to him once. Left the kids with my mom. And both of us sobbed when he dropped me off at the airport to go back home. It was such a hard time. The money was really great but not worth it. We love having daddy home with us.
My hubs drove truck and he quit just before all the crazy rioting and stuff started when that trucker was pulled from his truck and beat. He used to drive through that city all of the time. I was sobbing for the guy and his family.. People dont understand those things CANNOT stop quickly! I am always so respectful of semis and utility vehicles when driving. Even first responders, police, and firefighters. My heart aches for when I see sirens and literally all I can think of is their families. And I say a quick prayer for their safety. Because I do the same for my hubs when he leaves the house ever. I'm such a softy for them.
That is outrageous! I hate when people don’t stop going the opposite way when the bus has the stop sign out. Like, it’s the law to stop!! What if a kid was running across the street to go home 🥺
@rayofmysunshine, dh gets cut off all of the time and he has special needs students in his vehicle daily.
He once had a guy curse him out when he had students under 10 hearing all of it. Sad times.

I wish others would be more cautious and considerate drivers, smh. I'm not trying to sound like it's all your responsibility for preventing an accident at all, but I was wondering if you would bumper stickers that said you drive the speed limit, you have explosives on board, stay "x" amount of feet back, do not tailgate, etc.? Just to give the knuckleheads a warning. I'm wondering of those would help get them off your tail
We have the required stickers for explosives. I will look into the other stickers for sure!

My dad was a truck driver, I get this! I give my respect and wish others would do more of the same
I do too! Ever since my SO did truck driving I didn’t realize the importance of respecting Semis on the road. I am WAY more courteous to them now. Its such a dangerous job in the first place. Especially when hauling hazardous materials.

used to drive the fuel tankers. HazMat. People are ruthless on the roads. He taught us at a young age to respect their space.
I believe he took my sister, myself and my mother with him twice, if I remember correctly

My kids aren’t in school yet, but I have a question. I’ve been wondering why parents will drive their kids to the school bus stop instead of driving them to school. I’ve seen cars lined up at the end of my street just to wait on the bus. I don’t get it, so enlighten me.

Now he works in an office at our home lol so he rarely leaves and I'm much better hahaga
