I hope you have a quick recovery!! My in laws still can't taste or smell and its been over a month since we've had it.
Tell them to try taking zinc. I’ve heard over and over that covid depletes your zinc and causes the loss of taste and smell. With older people, most are already low on zinc.
@blueismycolor, I'll have to ask if they've tried that! I know my sil has told them to try different things. She does the tubing/breathing for covid patients. 😔
It seems like everyone is catching covid this winter season. 🤔 My husband and I got covid two weeks ago it sucked but our symptoms were mild, we finally feel normal again. our daughter was unaffected never got symptoms.

Waiting on test results for my husband but I’m sure we all do. No doubt. Kids aren’t displaying any symptoms other than some crankiness and neither is my husband. Said he just feels a little more tired but he’s been working his ass off. Me on the other hand, I have a really bad sore throat and my fever won’t break. Body hurts feels like I been hit by a truck. Literally every part of my body, from head, cheekbones, fingers, everything just aches. Feels like my body is legit pulsating. It’s so weird! I can breathe fine though. No cough. Thank goodness.
