Cannot for the life of me get warm tonight. It's so cold outside that my house will not get above 58/60ish. Getting my 3 kids in bed and drawing myself a bath hoping that will warm me up. Im in all fleece and fuzzy socks. Brrrr. Real feel outside is 12 🥶

You got one of those good ol drafty country houses like us too! Once it drops, it's HARD to get it back up! Turn the oven on for a bit, that helps here. Only in the living and kitchen but it helps! We have an electric blanket too. I've been too scared to put one on my kiddos bed though!

Stupid thing is the house was built in 2013 😑 but the people who built it were ametures who had a problem with not finishing things and didn't insulate the places that really need it 🤦♀️

That's miserable when you get that cold! Getting under the covers is the only thing that fixes it for me.

@countrypeaches42013, have you checked the filters sometimes when my air doesn’t catch up that’s the problem.

yeah we just had our boiler serviced. The back side of our house has better insulation which is where my kids room is. It's just drafty and I live on a hill with no trees so the wind hits my house hard and with how cold it is outside I have my windows covered and can hear the plastic rattle. 🤦♀️ during the day it isnt as bad because of all the natural sunlight. But I'm also just a cold person in general so while my husband is in shorts and a t I'm all bundled up.
