I’m getting nervous now. My sons pediatricians office got the ekg results for my son from Friday and has already called me and sent over the referral. His cardiologist appointment is for Wednesday. I spoke to the cardiology office and they seem so nice but I’m still nervous for my baby.

I’m sure everything will be fine! EKGs are super sensitive, and docs are quick to jump when it comes to kids hearts. TJ was born with heart issues and I work in adult cardiology, if you wanna chat

That’s what I thought an I asked did they want to repeat the ekg first. They said no the cardiologist reviews it and he has an enlarged chamber. They also did a chest X-ray. Idk if they could see an enlargement with that as well?

@dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts, only if the whole heart is enlarged. An echo will be able to explain what’s going on. EKGs can also show something is wrong if the leads aren’t in the right place.
