Well guys, after homeschooling during the first lockdown and again during the second due to her bubble having to self isolate. I took the leap and I'm now officially homeschooling my 8 year old daughter permanently. I've had to do some studying myself as it was a long long time since I left school, but she's enjoying it, I'm enjoying it and the little men get schooled too.
This our kitchen /classroom.
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
How long?
I masticated for over an hour today during dinner time.
Okay update. I dropped the kids off at school and they had to check their hair and they were good. I feel like now the parents weren't told that their kids have been ...
Considering Virtual School (k-12 program)
I'll preface this by saying, homeschooling is not my passion. In fact it's the last thing I want to do. He's a very high needs, emotional kid with some very significant learning challenges. It really comes down to that they want him medicated so he will comply. I'm against medication at this point. His school work is not being affe...
Big leap to take! Good luck :)
My mam home schools my 12 year old sister, I considered homeschooling Theo but he's way to social and I feel that couldn't satisfy that aspect of his personality as he grows.
My mam takes my sister to homeschooling groups for the social aspect of things. You can usually find them on facebook. My sister goes to two, they both meet once a week (pre lockdown- they have zoom calls now), definitely worth looking into :) x
