Unfortunately I am not producing enough breastmilk for my baby and only have enough for about two 3oz bottles a day. I feel like I could’ve have tried harder and it makes me sad. He is mostly formula fed and its not what i wanted but i guess fed is best. I never had a problem producing🤷🏻♀️ both my kids we’re breastfed until 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 years old.

I need advice my boobs arent producing enough milk and I have been drinking water and eating the calories I need to eat and im still only producing about 2 ounces and thats in between both boobs and my babies pediatrician says that my baby needs atleast 4 ounces sense she is a month old now so is it okay to introduce formula ever once in a while when she isn't getting enough milk from my boobs if she is still hungary I dont want her to starve and I know she isnt getting enough milk because even after I fed her she will still show signs that she is hungary so any advice would be great.

Left & right breast ...I pumped the right breast after I fed baby Cruz ...I am beyond blessed & thankful to be producing so much but my GOODNESS it hurts to have full breast! 😣 I had no clue! Lol, can u imagine how it feels to have all this milk in ur breast 😕 I can't complain tho bc baby is fed 💁🏽

Are you still trying? You could possibly increase if interested, but if not that’s cool too!
I’ve found some very helpful supplements to increase my milk and you could also try power pumping if you ever manage to find the time. Time is definitely hard to come by though

this one Works great as does their pump princess one. I also take their sunflower lechitin because I was getting painful clogs a lot. I haven’t tried the others but they all have great reviews. I started off taking the full amount of 6 per day but was very quickly able to cut back to 2-3 per day. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure your supply doesn’t really regulate until about 12 weeks so you could probably still ramp it if you’re able to put in the work. My baby had to be supplemented initially due to weight loss and couldn’t nurse well because of tongue tie. I really hit a wall and almost threw in the towel. I was pumping about 2-3 times a day at first and my supply was steadily dropping. I couldn’t do the 8-12 recommended pumps per day with a colicky newborn and a 4 year old so I worked at getting at least 6 per day. I am now at 3 months able to do 5 pumps per day and get about 30oz or so. It definitely doesn’t have to be all or nothing with breast milk in my opinion. If you need to supplement with formula you’re still doing great
