At what age did your kid(s) start riding a bike by themselves ? My daughter loves to ride her bike except she doesn’t have the strength in her legs to pedal yet so it gets tiring pushing her around lol
My daughter started on a strider @ 1, & was riding with no training wheels by 3 1/2. My sons been on his strider since 1, we got him a peddle bike for Christmas. I don’t think it will take long for him to be fully riding it.
4.5/5....I would get her one of those balance bikes so she can build strength and figure out how to steer independently. My daughter had one at home and school it helped her learn to ride without training wheels faster.
Lynnie still rides hers with training wheels. She started a tricycle at 2 and a small bike at 3, now she rides a bigger bike at 4. Will has a small bike but we haven't really worked on him riding it yet...
Is it a tricycle? I can’t remember exactly. 🤔
Think 6-7 with no training wheels but I Forget.
If you mean when they are tots on tricycle then age 2.

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Am I wrong for not wanting anybody to ride my sons bike but him hes 3 and he has a auntie who is the same age as him but I dont want her to ride it either...
Riding a bike
At what age did your children start riding a bike? My almost 5 year old is terrified of riding his bike. What can I do to get him over that fear?!? Any tips are really appreciated

So the same damn kids from across the street that ride their bikes on our property and a couple weeks ago through the piles of weeds dh pulled that made a huge mess to clean up have now decided they can leave their things in our yard. I watched the kid ride up our path drop the bike then proceed to run through the plant to the grass. Wtf!?
My neighbor seriously make me wanna call cps on her. She kicks her 7 year old son out the house and locks the door on him a lot. She's always cursing him out. I was just in the garage and she's cursing him out telling him to get out the f...ing door and ride his f...ing bike. He was trying to stay in the house but she pushed him out and closed the door. Now he's out here riding the bike, crying. I just let Allen go ride as well. I told him to only ride at a distance and talk to him from the bike...
I got my daughter a bike with training wheels when she was 3 but it was heavy and it took her a while to figure out how to pedal. A few weeks and she had it down. We took her training wheels off when she was 5. With my son, he’s been riding his strider bike since 17 months and he’s seriously amazing! We got him a bike with training wheels at age 2 but he couldn’t do it because it’s too heavy. He can kind of pedal now but not very far. He definitely prefers his strider bike.
