@llcoolkay, so scary! Thankfully she only had a broken collarbone and she somehow managed to tough it out for her wedding. But the ongoing legal battle has just been awful.
I hope you and your friend are alright. Car accidents are scary even with they are minor.

@ekko, oh okay. Yeah neither of us were seriously injured. We both went to the hospital and got cleared to leave. I’m super sore and my back hurts. They said I should see my chiropractor soon to help my neck and back
@llcoolkay, Definitely follow up with the chiropractor and don’t accept any offer they make. I had to get surgery on my knee and what felt minor at first turned out to be a major knee problem weeks and months down the road. I didn’t think it was anything serious at first. I hope your pain goes away soon!
@ekko, thank you so much. I’m going to call the chiropractor tomorrow and try to get in soon. I think I also need to see my PCP, my abdomen is in a lot of pain too.
I did. It took close to 2 years to settle but it was well worth it. Both my husband and I needed surgery to repair damage done during the accident.

My husband's lawyer said it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year and half. Just depends if it has to go to trial or they'll settle before. My husband is going through physical therapy and treatment so he has to wait on the personal injury settlement. He isn't allowed to accept the offer the insurance company gave him for his vehicle being totaled.
We’re still in the process because of covid they had to reschedule my court date & everything so I’m just here waiting to hear something soon hopefully.

My best friend did. Week before her wedding she got hit by someone driving under the influence of drugs. She was lucky to survive. It’s been a little over 2.5 years and they are still caught up in court trying to get the settlement. It’s been a nightmare.
