Are you guys going to be celebrating Christmas with all your family this year? For us it will just be my husband & kids, sister in law, her husband and their kids (the only reason we will be with them is because we live not in the same house but same property and we see each other everyday),
but it’s been hard having to tell the rest of our family we will not be joining. Anyone else?

Just us 3, no one else is invited into our home (for obvious reasons). Everyone is sending gifts, calling and or zooming.
It was not hard for us to make that decision. We have not had anyone here since December of last year. 🤷🏻♀️
I am truly thankful for having DH and dd with me through this struggling year, together.

Let’s talk family dinner. Who sits down as a family for dinner every night? We do. We were always the kids who had to be home at 5pm for dinner and I’ll do the same with my kids. Dinner is my favorite meal of the day cause it’s the only meal that we sit down as a family and eat. We talk about our day and I get to know so much about my kids while sitting and chatting. So who’s with me on this?
I’ve realized that people are always trying to get away from their husbands like oh u need a vacay away from my kids and husband ASAP Loll it’s funny bc to me a vacay IS with my husband we have so much fun together !! He’s like my bestie !
Me and my hubby have decided that after our daughter is born we want to help a family out and carry their little one. I have always wanted to help a family that can’t have their own kids.
Mummy’s of same gender babies! I have just announced our third pregnancy to family & friends, and I have been inundated with messages saying ‘congratulations! You must be hoping for a girl this time?’ Honestly so many of the same message, and on the phone to my family they’re saying ‘hopefully a girl this time!’. Or ‘fingers crossed for a girl’. Why do people do this?? We are having a third child because we WANT a third child, I think it’s so rude because it’s implying we wouldn’t be happy if it...

We’ll still spend Christmas with my sister and her family, and my mom but not sure about anyone else. We usually see my husband’s family on Christmas Eve but his mom is very high risk so we might have to skip it this year. I already got Covid but my husband hasn’t so there’s still a chance for him to get it and spread it.
