Just monitor what you eat , they said grace would be big but it was my 2nd who was bigger than her 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

I was inducted at 38 weeks with my 1st

I had GD in my last pregnancy and it was horrible, worst time of my life, I couldn’t get anything under control unfortunately, was going to be induced but my little man decided to make his appearance himself at 37 weeks exactly weighing 7lb 2oz, It went away for me after I had him they said but unfortunately I was hospitalised 3 months ago as I had been ill and I knew my body wasn’t right for 4 months before that back and forward to doctors, wanting answers to then be diagnosed with diabetes now. Also I wouldn’t worry about having a huge baby too much either, I had GTT and was induced and my baby was 4lb 2! They said expect at least 9lb 🤣

I had it in my second pregnancy, unfortunately mine wasn't controllable due to the fact it wasn't detected until 33weeks but the NHS handled it well and he was induced healthy with no complications at 36+2 and Ive also had no diabetes since, I do have yearly blood tests to check but other than that it's been nearly 5years and we are born absolutely fine.

Aw hun this is not your fault at all and happens to so many pregnant ladies! You've just got to keep it under control and then you'll get used to testing and controlling xxx
