I have a dilemma...my daughter is remote learning....she has 5 teachers...her actual class teachers and then 3 support teachers for different subjects....so do I get all 5 teachers gifts or just her classroom teachers 🤔
A) Nobody gets gifts (my husband voted for this one 🙄)
B) Homeroom teachers get $50 gc and support teachers get small gift cards to like Dunkin or something
C) Just homeroom gift cards
I want to plan accordingly and give them next week. My husband's aunt works at the school so can pass out the gifts. I just don't know 😫
B. I’m planning on getting my daughters therapist something after the holidays tho. We have a lot to buy for already.
I absolutely adore that woman and her patience for my kid is outstanding.
I’m not the one to ask. I’m making all the students and teachers stuff lol and the staff of the school. Ya I’m that mom
Last year I bought lunch for the staff at my daughters preschool and then gave her actual teacher a $25 gift card to a restaurant. It was about $5/person for lunch and I got to show everyone that we appreciate them!
Definitely not A 😂. I feel like now more than ever, teachers need some encouragement and appreciation shown
What about small gifts for each. Say $10-15? I was stumped at first too, but realized with my company I have a great opportunity to give a wellness gift that won’t cost me much because I bought everything wholesale to serve 1,000 people.
What I’m doing this year is I’ve created gift bags and gift tags on vista print for my business anyway. They arrive Friday. So each teacher(Zay has 5 as well), the principal and office staff will get a gift bag with all three samples my company features and a homemade beeswax candle that Zay helped me make
I’m also doing the same thing for my siblings teachers and special ed staff at their school as well. It’ll cost me about $75 for everyone we put on the list and that’s about 20 people.
This! As a TA my favorite gifts weren’t gift cards. Cards made by kids and a small gift, candle/flowers/plant.
@monstermommax3, he loves helping me make products so I let him work on experiments with me. This week is candle making and next week is milk bath! They may get a 4oz sample of the milk baths too
A) the thought stresses me out so I’m not doing it this year. Lol
I usually only get something for the home room teacher.
I usually only do homeroom teacher because they have a teacher for every subject. I usually let them pick out teacher gifts at their Santa's workshop though.
I'm just doing his main teacher. He has different teachers for art music gym computer.
@mom2godzilla yeah that's what I was thinking for the subject teachers
@massgirl i do simple but I always do something for them because they do so much for our kids even the teachers who are full virtual they are still doing so much
@massgirl my mom taught for 30+ years and was really beloved with her students. Like they still message her to ask her out to lunch even though she's been retired for years. She probably only got 5-10 gifts a year (she had 140+ students in her 7th grade-she taught science) they truly aren't necessary and just add stress for families. Just my 2 cents.
@jenx, I agree, do it if you can but if will cause a fuss then do not bother.
@jenx oh wow. Maybe it's the demographic where your mom taught but where I live teachers walk away with hundreds of dollars in gifts cards lol
Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill?
He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over...

So my daughters cord was wrapped around her neck I just delivered her vaginally she was so beautiful rip my angel
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄
Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, to...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Teachers - can I just say
I'm not overpaid thank you!
Definitely not A 😂. I feel like now more than ever, teachers need some encouragement and appreciation shown
