My 16 month old flipped over the side of the couch. She was on the couch which she knows how to get down and shes very careful doing so, so shes never fallin off the couch before. But this time she flipped over the back of it. My back was turned sweeping the dinning room so i didn't see it. Her nose has a mark on it and looks a little swollen. More it seems in the picture. Should i take her to the ER. Her eyes are moving just fine. Her head is and shes drinking her bottle sitting up. Just need advice

Maybe call your pediatrician. I wouldn't take her to the er just yet though.

I think She’s okay !! My son jumped out of his high chair that had no straps when he was like 8 months old and hit his face/head right on the tile he was perfectly fine and still himself. U can call ur pediatrician but I think There’s No need to go to an er unless she’s crying a lot , bleeding a lot or not acting like normal

@aliciaandray, oh yeah he was fine ! he’s a crazy wild boy climbing up and down the couches running around so I’m expecting more thumps here and there since he’s wild and I can’t keep him stuck in one spot 😂 I try my best to keep things away from him getting hurt

@flamingfiremom, sounds like my 1 year old 🤦🏻‍♀️ he’s a monkey i used to be the parent that’s always shielding them from getting hurt now I’m like you’ll see you ain’t supposed to do that 🤣 i mean if he’s trying to jump off the roof I maaay stop him ... probably not 😅 jkjk ya don’t come for me 🥴🤣

No I wouldn’t take her to the ER. You can put an ice pack on it. If it’s not uncontrollable bleeding and she’s alert and acting her self I’m going to say the chances of her being fine are extremely high.

She should be fine if I look to make sure their eyes are 🤔 (coordinating) lol like they aren’t going cross eyed or all types of ways. I’m pretty sure that’s a symptom of head trauma 😅

I think they also look at pupils too.

My oldest son, poor thing had a flat spot cause no matter how he fell he would hit the excavation same spot on his head. 🤦‍♀️ put ice and call her ped if you're worried about her. I hope she feels better!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder off so I'm scared to bus her because they lost her 2times on the bus and just the other day they let her walk home by herself I'm just in over my head please pray for me that I can find the right school and get an understanding of what to do

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
