I'm moving home next week I signed papers and got the keys yesterday (but officially moving Wednesday) anyway its a bigger place for the children witch is great and a new start for us all but the landlord is our next door neighbour I don't have anything to hide or anything and everything is fine but is that a good thing having your landlord next door my kids are loud and it's a bit hectic some days especially with everything going on (it's probably just me thinking silly) and my little ones teething and she's up in the night what do you all think

I wouldn't want my landlord to live next door to me 😂 like you say nothing to hide, but I hate small talk. Positive is as above said any issues he's got no excuse than to get then sorted straight away.
I've been in my house over 5 years, I've only ever met my landlord once and he's never set foot in the house since we moved in. He just leaves us alone which is great

I have my landlord downstairs as its his office (I'm in a flat) and not that hes ever been any bother, its been a nightmare for me 😂 I just feel I never have any privacy and anytime I go out I always bump into him and his wife and have to make small talk. They're lovely people dont get me wrong it's just annoying that normally you would only see a landlord once every few months whereas i see mine every few days 🙄 xx
I wouldn't worry about it, they know you have kids so I don't think they would expect complete silence and would guess they know little ones cry when ill or teething and all that 😊
Also if there's any problems super handy for them to be next door haha x
