Has anyone had any experience with their 11 month old suddenly refusing their bottles of formula? As of yesterday my daughter has significantly stopped taking her bottle and it’s a fight to get her to even eat. She was actually table foods just fine but I rely on formula also because of her food allergy. I never had this happen with my two boys so I’m at a loss. I’m also stressed because I feel like she still needs it and don’t want her to get dehydrated ect. If any one had this happen I would appreciate your feed back.

My son did the exact same so I cut back on the table foods until he was one. He was relying more on the food than formula so I just think I went back down to two meals and made sure he had his formula before he ate

Are you trying to give her the formula cold? ( I remember seeing your post yesterday regarding her wanting it warm). What is her food allergy? My oldest breastfed until 1 but barley as I had no milk left so started drinking whole milk around 11 months. I would start making sure she’s getting everything she needs from table foods and continue to offer the formula but at her age she’s about to be off formula anyways.

No I’m still warming it up. She’s allergic to dairy and eggs. I was reading online and a lot of stuff said that about age 11 months babies start to get bored with the formula and are telling you that they are ready to switch but I will not switch her before 1 unless her doctor gives me the green light. Her eating terrible just started two days ago. She’s always teething to so that doesn’t help ☹️

my 9 year old was allergic to dairy as well I know how hard it is I thankfully was able to breastfeed her until she was almost 2. I’d def see if your pedi has any suggestions and try and find foods she likes that fill her vitamin and nutrient needs.

yes definitely! She’s not my first kid with this allergy my 3 year old was allergic as well but like you I was able to breastfeed till 2 with Him. I already found a milk she will get at 1 that’s the closet to cows milk and we already do vegan cheese and dairy free yogurts ect
