Has anyone’s baby’s started to sit or crawl really late? My daughter is almost 9 months old and can’t nor tries to sit. Won’t even try to crawl either and I am getting worried.

Does she do tummy time regularly? Does she sit with support? I would maybe mention it to her pediatrician or have her evaluated by an early intervention program for occupational or physical therapy.

See my daughter doesn’t even sit for a few seconds like nothing at all

My youngest could sit when placed at 7 months, push himself up by 8 or 9. But he didn’t roll onto his belly or crawl until 11.5. He started rolling and crawling within days of each other, then started to pull to stand a week later. He’s a late bloomer. We think he may have some low muscle tone, but my doc never said anything. Now he’s almost a year and a half and doesn’t say any words, not even basic sounds. He still talks in his throat

My daughter doesn’t even try to sit at all every time I try to sit her down she just throws herself back or she just falls right over never tries you can just tell she doesn’t try at all & she rolls over on her stomach but that is all she knows. I’m going to call her doctor Monday

My daughter was late. It was determined that she had low muscle tone. I would bring it up to your pediatrician. As pp mentioned early intervention may be recommended
