Mamas that have had csections before, is it common for your dr to recommend another one? I had asked about vaginal but no drs in my area are trained for that so I would have to travel 2 hours away. I know she said I could burst my uterus or that could be something that happens..? Do they cut the same scar? I have so many questions😳😳

Not trained for vagina birth you don’t have a hospital? Like I don’t understand lol

@justgotaname, yeah I understand that part but how is their no one that available in your area for a women to give birth makes no sense to me. Yet they can cut you open so obviously a surgeon is?? Like huh

she didn’t mean there are no doctors period, she mean no one will do VBACs.

yes unless I was to drive 2 hours away. I’m new to this I had forgot they were called VBAC! My previous csection wasn’t planned at all

I’ve never had csections but it would make sense to me that they would cut the same scar since it was done before unless there’s an issue with scar tissue that they have to cut somewhere else but pretty positive they do it In the same spot

They cut over the same scar. My doctor didn't recommend I try a VBAC, so I had 3 c sections.

Can you find a midwife in the area?
There are risks but they’re often relatively small after only one cesarean. Lots of newer doctors have never performed vbacs but a midwife may have good experience.

So the risk for vbac is very small after 1 c section. I'll find the studies tonight. The risk is actually smaller then complications from a c section. However most induction methods are not suggested for vbac moms. You can just not show up for a scheduled c section and labor at home as long as you can stand it.
Go in when you are ready to push 🤷♀️
