I've been on the mini pill for around 6yrs with no problems. Stopped it to ttc my youngest and went back on it after she was born. It is horrendous!! Gives me headaches, super moody, bloated, oh hates i have no interest in sex.

Due to being borderline for a blood clotting disorder there isn't much I am allowed to take.
I would definitely call the GP as breathlessness doesn't sound good at all!
Have you ever considered Natural Family Planning? Its obviously not 100% against pregnancy but at least you're not putting chemicals into your body that are constantly not working for you xx

I started taking progesterone only pill 2 months after I had my first son. I had non stop spotting 😕. This kind of pills was suitable while breastfeeding. The doctors told me to persevere, but there were no changes. I stopped it when my first son was 14 months old to get pregnant again. I am not going to take that pill anymore as it’s a nightmare with non stop bleeding. I’m going to choose a copper coil this time. Have you tried it? xx
can't say I did. I think breast tenderness on contraceptives can be normal. However, the breathlessness would make me stop taking immediately. Could you ask your GP for a phone appointment to discuss maybe?

Also I don't want to scare you but on the leaflet it says breathlessness is an emergency! And a sign of pulmonary embolism. So call someone ASAP!!

Hi Hun, I went to a&e on Wednesday and they checked me over and no blood clot thank god. I feel okay now. Better than I was the other day anyway x

I had no side affects from it at all. Been on the same one for about 8 years. I only came off it to conceive then went straight back on
