Here's the latest Update: My Daughter's tests came back normal and She is backed up so they gave her a suppository. Since being home I have given her 2 bottles of water & prune juice and I know that's alot but it seems to have soothe her alot! She's also EATING Again!! Y'all's Prayers are Much Appreciated!! My Family & I Thanks Y'all from the bottom of Our Hearts!!💜
@2sweetie I have no idea why She was having a hard time but they said she had quite a bit of stool and She expelled it all on her own with the help of the suppository yesterday and yes I examined it and it was pretty dang hard so I think it may have been the formula I switched her too because I'm trying to ween her from formula altogether but She still wants it but I do give her the toddler milk formula but I notice My kiddos just have issues with Similac and I have no idea why. I will start keeping suppositories on hand though and prune juice so that We can avoid wasting time and money going to the ER
@al_hegerrrr2819, sorry to hear that! Yes definitely keep them on hand so you can take care of it at home. It’s an ongoing battle for me and my daughter and it’s hard. A couple weeks ago I actually made her a sticker chart where she has to drink 2 bottles of water and eat 3 fruits per day. She’s been doing really well and has actually been pooping 5 days a week which is a huge improvement! I think your daughter is too young for this type of reward system but just keep on top of her water intake and do what you can.
@2sweetie She is a little too young but I will keep this in mind as She gets older. I'm definitely staying on top of her water intake though
How long had it been since she pooped?
