What do you do if your LO doesn’t want to go to bed and then they begin to cry because they want you to come to them? Or do you wait (a little) until they come to you?

This unfortunately! He didn't wanna go to bed last night so I told him I'd lay with him in his room. He fell asleep, I came back to mine but woke up to him hoggin the covers between me and Dad this mornin! 🤷♀️ He's FIVE, I HAVE to assume he's not gonna want to sleep with us forever! 🤣

I'll lay down with them and within a few minutes they are passed out, and I'm able to do what I need to before going to bed myself, and they slept through the whole night. It's a win. They know their mama loves them, I get snuggles, they fall asleep feeling secure and because of it we all slept better.
