I caught covid almost 4 months ago and I still don't have complete smell and taste back.
It took about a month for me to get about 70% of it back.
Now there's some things that I still can't smell or taste. For example, I can taste triscuits but I can't taste cool ranch doritos. I can smell peppermint but I can't smell eucalyptus or patchouli.
And then there are some things I can smell but they don't smell the same as they did before I caught covid, Coffee smells like burnt garlic to me now and rosemary smells kinda minty.

@watz, all i’ve had is headaches and loss of smell and taste. my boyfriend had it bad

yeah that's the scariest thing about covid. It affects everyone so differently and you just don't know if you will be lucky enough to have a "mild" case, or if you'll be really sick but be able to recover at home, or if you will end up in the hospital.
