I know I have a long time to figure out baby names but I like to get a head start 😅 I really liked Skylar Rose for a girl and Hayden Dewayne for a boy but my husband vetoed both of those. He said he likes Harley Jade for a girl and has no idea for a boy. Our daughters name was picked by me but we both agreed and then I let my mom pick her middle name which was perfect because the middle name my mom picked happens to also be the middle name of my husbands great grandmother (who practically raised my MIL). My MIL suggested Harley Mae (which Mae is also her great mother’s name) and I vetoed that because if we’re naming this one after somebody I would prefer it be a mutual agreement and preferably from someone on my side. My husband is like dead set on his idea but honestly I HATE it 😅😅😅 I tried to tell him gently that I just didn’t really like it but now he’s saying we can wait until after the gender reveal to really pick one 🙄 any suggestions? I’m I being selfish for not wanting this one to be named after the same woman as my last one? Am I being inconsiderate for not really liking his suggestion? I was wanting the first name to be pretty gender neutral since my daughters is. I don’t want her to be upset later that I gave her a “boyish” name and then the other one a girly name if they are both girls. Which am I thinking too much about it? Would my daughter even be bothered by that? 😅
