It’s the second day of going back inside the schools. I told my middle daughter not to hug kiss nothing. Her teacher wrote a note saying she was out her seat a lot. I need a punishment suitable for a 5 year old.

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

I personally don’t feel that punishment is suitable for the offense. 5 is very young. It’s developmentally normal to fidget and get out of seats at that age. I’d sit her down and talk to her and help her understand why she can’t move around the way she’d like to. Give her other options to get her wiggles out.

I agree!!! Punishment is for intentional offenses, this is a teachable moment and like op said only three second day of school. I feel so bad for all of these little kids!!!

I agree my daughter is 11 and I didnt send her back to school cause I knew it was going to be hard for her I think just explaining why it’s so important to listen to her teacher

5 is hard for them to sit in the same area all day at school and all these rules with covid in the schools. This way the main reason we kept our son home this year. He has more freedom and I dontbhave to stress with him getting to close to other kids.
