Did they do y’all’s birthday parties at the beginning of December? The month of December must have always been pretty expensive in that household lol I bet they hated that
when I had parties it would be the weekend after my birthday which is New Years weekend it was always cold or ppl broke from Xmas shopping 🤦🏾♀️ (hers the weekend b4 her bday) as I got older it got easier though...I just started doing dinners and stuff lol. But we’ve always got separate gifts... I made it CLEAR I need a Christmas gift AND a birthday gift in birthday wrapping. No 2 for 1 lol
we do all of the birthdays the same. We usually go out to eat or order dinner, have a cake and ice cream and a bunch of presents. I definitely do treat it any differently because Christmas is 5 days away. A birthday is a birthday 🤷🏻♀️
