It's an American thing. Other countries treat them like the public workers they are supposed to be. Respected but not idolized.

I hope she comes.around, @brandylynn94. I have a couple of good friends who vote Trump and although we disagree politically, we love each other. I really think discussing politics can be a bad thing if people can't keep their feelings in check and perspective.

I think the rhetoric that goes on, that all Trump voters are racist people is not good at all. One, it isn't true, and two, it puts people in a very.offended and impossible situation to have any meaningful exchange of ideas.
