Need some advice someone I know is 35 weeks and got gestational diabetes she was given the 27th of November but was told today she got to wait now tell the 2nd December she will be 39 weeks her diabetes is very high and is on insulin to 5 times a day

She is having a C-section this time and before she had a emergency C-section but them give her the 27th Nov but them cant find her online she keep texting me asking me everything I just told her the baby with come when them can do it and I am not a doctor
Generally they induce at 40 weeks for women with GD. But if her sugar levels cannot be controlled they may bring it forward a week. Only advice would be to try and work out what is making her readings high. What types of foods she should avoid. Between 27 November to 2nd December is only 5 days so it's not a big risk really xx
@niaz2014 with my first I had my baby at 37 weeks then with my second I was told I will have him at 37 again but then they said we will induce at 39 weeks I also had GD and was told my baby has a big tummy it was worrying but when he was born he was all well hun . Just try and tell ur friend to control on her diet for now
@niaz2014 definitely advise her to control her diet for now. Whatever triggers her readings she should stop eating it !
Im sure her dietician mustve given her a brief view of what she can and cannot eat. Kurdish food is unhealthy especially rice it tends to raise your numbers x
@zainab.1995 yes I know that I have told her lots she is my sister in law u tell her and she say yes I will do it next she is doing it I have had it now I cant keep telling her

i dont have preeclampsia but they think i got the diabetes but they didnt test me for it
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
They don't want baby to get to big so the risk of him getting stuck
